On a planet far away, Alseree is stuck in a rut and so abandons home and work to fly away and explore the stars.
As the spaceship runs low on fuel, Alseree has to decide whether to land and refuel on the dangerous and forbidden planet called Earth.
This film is about abandonment and to pursue the unknown. It comes with risks and the possibility of never returning to the life you’ve left.
Imagine driving to work one day and deciding to turn off and drive away with no destination in mind.
The only place you might find is yourself.
One technical aspect of the production was to minimise waste by using recycled and biodegradable materials. This was also achieved by shooting on a small stage of less than 1m x 1m and combining the hard materials with digital 2d and 3d elements. The impressions from manufacturing and manipulation when animating are deliberately left embedded in the materials.
